DESCRIPTION:This academy is for students currently going into 7th or 8th g
 rade in the fall of 2026.The Youth Fire Academy is a week long program put
  on by White Lake Township Firefighters with the dual effort of expanding 
 knowledge of what the current fire service is, as well as providing an exc
 iting and beneficial experience for the local youths. Each cadet will be p
 rovided with hands on experience with many of the tools, skills, and equip
 ment utilized by the fire service. The goal is for the cadets to walk away
  from the program with at least a fun and informative memory, and at most 
 a desire to pursue a career as a Firefighter.Each cadet will end this week
  with new, useful knowledge. Some souvenirs, as well as a CPR certificatio
 n.Some of the experiences the cadets will see include, but are not limited
